Thursday June 17th 2010 – Tara White
We end this 5 week series with our friends Tara White, a Boston institution who’s rock sensibility is only matched by their sincerity!
Tara White is a Boston based rock band known for straight up, jam friendly alternative rock with a variety of styles, song lengths and sounds. Founded in 2003, Tara White is booking shows throughout the Northeast and picking up airplay on the radio and on the Internet. In the past year the band’s sound has expanded to include acoustic sets and an eclectic selection of cover songs.

Recent shows:
Thursday May 20th 2010 - Gary McKnight of Tara White
Gary Mcknight is the lead singer/guitarist of Boston based rock band Tara White! His acoustic rock moves from the echoes of 60s & 70s pop to modern alt rock eclectic.
Thursday May 27th 2010 – John McGregor
Whatever the versatile John McGregor decides to lay on us! He’s played in Overrated, Magambo, Local Scene and Soul Sauce and now he’s our guitarist! He’ll be serving up some acoustic funk and blues with a side of eclectic mojo!
Thursday June 3rd 2010 – StereoGrove
Music and art inherently pollinate the lives we lead. It begins with a single seed of thought set to portray creations of the mind. With time the seed transforms, and a stem protrudes and continues along the line of evolution.
Much of the previous prose describes the existence of Stereogrove – a musical collaboration between four men out of Boston. Once known as Stem, the group has evolved in its song writing, artistic merit, and professionalism. This has led them to a new name and a newer path, one rarely walked by modern musicians.
Thursday June 10th 2010 – Derek Rando
Derek Rando “Happy to See You Go” (full song)
Derek’s music consists of catchy vocal and guitar melodies combined with strong, emotionally charged lyrics. An indie attempt at pop music, quite often shaking hands with folk music, in a room barely bright enough to see… coming from the mouth of a prize fighter too tired to try anymore.
